A virtual injection molder

with a real injection molding machine.

fitting program that calculates key CAE variables

Ability to evaluate
the molding process
PLANETS takes into account the mold
pressure, mold clamping force, gate location, runner
design, cooling pipe arrangement and molding cycle,
to predict weld lines, warping and shrinkage of the
molded part after mold release. This lets you evaluate
the effects of molding factors, the mold and the molding
process on the quality of the molded component beforehand,
to help you determine optimum molding conditions. |

PLANETS makes a detailed computation
of crystallization and fiber and molecular orientation
in the molded part during molding, to predict the physical
properties and structure of the molded part and assist
in the evaluation of product performance. |
